Since Galaxy AI was launched, Samsung has talked about Swedish language support coming before the end of the year. Now it’s on its way.
Since before, Galaxy AI works in 15 languages. Now Samsung confirms that Swedish, as well as several other languages, will be added at the end of October. This means that you will be able to get direct translation of conversations over the phone and in physical meetings, get summaries, suggestions when you chat and transcribe conversations also in Swedish.
Translations already work between Korean, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Polish, Hindi, Japanese, Vietnamese, Russian, Indonesian and Arabic. Now Swedish, as well as Dutch, Turkish and Romanian are added.
Since Galaxy AI was released at the beginning of 2024 with the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung has promised that Swedish language support would come during the year, and now they seem to be fulfilling that promise. Samsung doesn’t give a more precise date for when the tracking support will be available than “end of October”.
– We are happy to be able to offer Galaxy AI in Swedish, which means that even more users can benefit from our innovative functions, says Anders Elmby, head of the mobile division at Samsung Electronics in the Nordics.
Samsung Galaxy AI is available in addition to the latest models Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Tab S10 series, also on Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy A55, Galaxy A35, Galaxy Tab S9 series, Galaxy S8 series, Galaxy Watch7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Buds3/Buds3 Pro, Galaxy Buds2 series and Galaxy Buds FE.
