Good news for Romanian users
For the community of Samsung phone users in Romania, the end of October 2024 brings long-awaited news: ROMANIAN will be included in the language pack supported by Galaxy AI.
This update will allow us to benefit from advanced features such as Live Translate, which facilitates instant translation of phone conversations and automatic transcription of discussions held in various meetings.
Linguistic expansion
Currently, Galaxy AI operates in 16 main languages and several regional dialects, including the most widely spoken languages: English, French, Chinese, Japanese and German.
Starting later this month, Samsung will add four new languages to Galaxy AI: Romanian, Swedish, Dutch, and Turkish.
All will be available for download from the “Language Packs” section accessible from the Settings app under the “General Administration” category.
Implementation process and accessibility
Users of compatible Galaxy devices will be able to download the new language packs directly from Settings by going to the “General Administration” section and selecting the “Language Packs” option.
It is expected that the compatible phones will be those from the S24, S23 and S22 ranges, then the Z Fold4, 5 and 6, but also the Z Flip4, 5 and 6.
As for tablets, we could talk about Tab S8, Tab S9 and Tab S10.
The first wave of deployment starts on October 28 with the Dutch language, giving users in the Netherlands and Belgium full access to the potential of Galaxy AI.
