Today, Samsung officially presented its expected novelty in the form of a new addition to the Galaxy S24 series. It currently includes the most affordable Galaxy S24 FE model, which offers excellent equipment in combination with a great design and excellent support. Of course, there is much more to it, so let’s introduce this new product in a little more detail.
Galaxy S24 FE – There is strength in simplicity
Phone calls from Samsung have been characterized by a very sleek, minimalist design for several years, and the new S24 FE is also designed in this spirit. Its dominant feature is the camera in the form of lenses individually inserted into the chassis in combination with a flat frame. It is made of aluminum, the back is plastic and many of the materials used in the construction are recycled.
New model S24 FE has received, like all its predecessors, a structure with increased resistance according to the IP68 standard, so neither dust nor, for example, a sudden bath will destroy it. The fingerprint sensor is traditionally placed in the display and the complete dimensions of this new product are 162 x 77.3 x 8 mm. The weight then stopped at 213 grams.

A new generation has grown up
FE models have always been relatively compact, or rather smaller phones, but with the new generation this is no longer the case. Its display has grown to 6.7 inches, so the phone is slightly larger and heavier. On the other hand, a larger display means more comfortable content consumption, and Samsung equipped its new product with a high-quality AMOLED panel (FullHD+, 120 HZ) with Vision Booster technology for better readability in the sun.
(Almost) flagship processor
Oh tree Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is powered by the Exynos 2400e processor, which is based on the full-fat 2400 model used in the Galaxy S24 flagship. Even this lightweight version is compatible with modern technologies, such as Ray Tracing, and cooling is handled by an efficient system with an evaporation chamber that is 10% larger compared to the previous generation.
As for other hardware, the operating memory has a capacity of 8 GB of RAM and the internal storage can be 128 GB or 256 GB. The battery offers a capacity of 4700 mAh, and the company makes it charging with a power of 25 W, which should be able to charge to 50% in 30 minutes. There is no lack of wireless charging or reverse wireless charging, both of unknown performance.

Camera with co-processor
At first glance, the photographic equipment is the same as last year and combines sensors with a resolution of 50 + 12 + 8 Mpx, which represent the main, ultra-wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens. It offers 3x optical zoom and, like the primary camera, is optically stabilized. The selfie camera has a resolution of 10 Mpx and the camera is supplemented with a welcome helper.
This is the image processor ProVisual Engine, which will take care of better image quality and it is the first time that this element appears in the FE series. This processor includes artificial intelligence with advanced AI algorithms and the Galaxy S24 FE should offer significantly better results for night photos, also thanks to the presence of AI.
AI-driven system and exemplary support
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE runs Android 14 out of the box with One UI 6.1 and the promise of exemplary support in the form of seven years of system updates and security patches. Of course, the system also includes the Galaxy AI artificial intelligence suite, which offers a lot of practical features and helpers, including Circle to Search for easy searches.
Galaxy AI also offers the functions Interpreter, Simultaneous Translation, Text Assistant (adjusts stylistics), Note Assistant or Transcription Assistant. Artificial intelligence is also prominently featured in photo editing and allows, for example, to move or retouch objects, make caricatures from selfies, or remove distracting elements (for example, reflections) with a single click.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE goes on sale today, September 26, in four colors (blue, black, green and yellow) and two memory versions (8 + 128 GB and 8 + 256 GB). The basic version costs 18,999 crowns, the top variant costs 19,999 crowns, and after registering and selling your old phone at www.novysamsung.cz, you can get a redemption bonus of up to 3,000 crowns (valid until October 31, 2024).
As usual, this new product will also be available at the Mobil Emergency Service dealer, where it will also be the most advantageous. Here, interested parties can look forward to a price reduced by up to 4,500 crowns or a free 3-year warranty.
