We expect the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE any moment now, because more and more information about the device is leaking. Now the alleged price has been revealed and it is disappointing.
Rumor: Galaxy S24 FE to cost $100 more
Through the well-informed WinFuture we read that the Galaxy S24 FE will cost 100 euros more than the S23 FE. The latter came to the Netherlands in December 2023 and was then for sale from 699 euros. The price has now dropped considerably and you now pay € 444.95 for the smartphone.
Samsung started releasing these Fan Editions with the Galaxy S20 series. These are cheaper phones compared to the flagships, with less powerful hardware and fewer functions. According to rumors, the screen has grown considerably compared to the S23 FE. This device has a 6.3-inch display, but the S24 FE gets a 6.7-inch screen. It is a colorful and smooth amoled display with pixels that refresh 120 times per second.
We see a slightly modified Exynos 2400 chip, which we know from the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus. The clock speed has been reduced slightly, which should improve the battery life a little. There is 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage space.
Five colors, cameras and reveal
We expect five colours: white/silver, black/grey, but also yellow, green and light blue. In terms of cameras, it is not too exciting. For example, the main camera has a 50 megapixel lens and there is also a 12 megapixel wide-angle lens. Optical zoom is used with the 8 megapixel telephoto lens and for selfies there is a 10 megapixel front camera.
It is not clear when Samsung will announce the Galaxy S24 FE. The S23 FE was unveiled in early October 2023, but only came to the Netherlands in December of that year.
