Samsung Galaxy S25: Famous tipster claims the series will only be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite

As its release is rumored to take place in January, the series Samsung Galaxy S25 it’s probably only two months away, which is why the leaks are piling up.

The latest leak comes from renowned tipster IceUniverse, who claims that we will only see one chipset for the upcoming flagships – the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Previous rumors have suggested that we’ll see a Snapdragon/Exynos split for the S25 series, similar to the Galaxy S24 series, but also the possibility of seeing a Mediatek chip used instead of Exynos.

Exynos, however, may not be used after all, as we’ve seen reports that Samsung is struggling with the performance rates of the Exynos 2500. Regardless of the chipset’s status, Samsung is expected to launch a total of four Galaxy S25 series devices – the S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra in January, followed by the S25 Slim sometime in the second quarter of 2025.
