The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ of Samsung are expected to be presented in January and are currently passing through regulatory authorities around the world, gathering certifications.
3C certification in China today revealed a bit of a bummer, as both of these phones will have exactly the same maximum charge levels as their predecessors.
Thus, the Galaxy S25 will charge up to 25W, while the Galaxy S25+ will reach 45W via USB-C. Unfortunately, wireless charging speed isn’t revealed through 3C certification, so we’ll have to wait a little longer to find out.
More generally, the Galaxy S25 series shows a stagnation compared to the Galaxy S24, with the design of the S25 and S25+ being another very obvious example of this, as both phones look almost identical to the Galaxy S24 and S24+.
