The mysterious Galaxy S25 Slim has finally leaked in images and it looks a lot like the Galaxy S25 series, showing that it is part of it, even if it might hit the shelves three months after the other three phones.
Tipster Ice Universe posted some renders that let us see all four phones side-by-side. As for the Galaxy S25 Slim, it is rumored to be 6.4mm thick, meaning it won’t be noticeably thinner than the Galaxy S25, which is said to be 7.2mm thick. The Galaxy S25 Plus is expected to be slightly thicker at 7.3mm, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra is said to be 8.2mm thick.
The difference in thickness between the Slim and the S25 and S25 Plus may be barely noticeable, according to an image posted by Ice. Sure, it looks noticeably thinner than the Galaxy S25 Ultra, but not much thinner than the other two versions.
This information makes us wonder why Samsung bothered to make this thin device if it isn’t that much thinner in reality. Apple is also rumored to be working on a thin phone, but the iPhone 17 Air is said to be only 5.5mm thick.
Ice also created a concept that shows all the Galaxy S25 models from the front. The Galaxy S25 is the smallest of the bunch with a 6.2-inch screen. The Galaxy S25 Plus and Slim are expected to feature 6.7-inch displays. The S25 Ultra is the largest with a 6.9-inch screen.
The Galaxy S25 Slim isn’t expected to be as thin as the iPhone 17 Air, and that’s largely because there won’t be as many trade-offs in terms of specs. For example, the Air is expected to have only one camera. The Galaxy S25 Slim, on the other hand, could feature a triple camera system on par with the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The Slim model may be announced alongside the rest of the Galaxy S25 family on January 22, but is expected to hit the market in May. Bookings are now open for the unreleased phones.
Leaker Steve H.McFly published an image a little later that provides an even better approximation of the differences between the phones in the Galaxy S25 family.
