Rumors are rife as to whether Samsung will end up using only Snapdragon chips for the upcoming Galaxy S25 series or whether it will include the Exynos 2500 SoC.
The latest Geekbench score sheet shows the Galaxy S25+ running on the Exynos 2500, essentially confirming that some markets have the Exynos-powered versions, such as the European market, and others will get the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
There were even rumors that Samsung was struggling with the performance of the Exynos 2500, but it seems that the situation is not so bad after all. The score sheet showing the Galaxy S25+ running on the unreleased Exynos 2500 is proof that some markets will get the Exynos.
We also see the CPU configuration. We’re talking about a 10-core CPU with the main core running at 3.3GHz, coupled with two high-performance cores at 2.75GHz and five more at 2.36GHz. There are only two energy-efficient cores at 1.8 GHz. The GPU is an Xclipse 950, powered by AMD’s RDNA architecture.
As for the benchmarks, this is obviously a pre-production sample, so comparisons with the Dimensity 9400 and Snapdragon 8 Elite chips are meaningless at this point as there will be improvements in the coming months.
