Rumors so far suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE will indeed arrive next year. Its processor has been revealed.
Details have been pretty scarce lately, but an industry insider recently leaked the processors for the Galaxy Z Flip FE and Z Flip 7 on the X. The FE is said to come with the Exynos 2400e, while the Z Flip 7 will come with the yet-to-be-released Exynos 2500.
On the other hand, it is not surprising that the Z Flip FE has the Exynos 2400e chipset, as Samsung will cut costs to offer a more affordable price.
Still, the Exynos 2400e is a pretty powerful processor to start with, and it doesn’t seem to lag behind the Exynos 2400 in day-to-day tasks. We saw it perform well on the Galaxy S24 FE this year, so it might be a good idea for Samsung to go for it.
Coming back to the Galaxy Z Flip 7, the news of using Exynos 2500 may not be too far-fetched. A recent report stated that the entire Galaxy S25 series will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite, which means Samsung is reserving its flagship processor for foldable devices. Especially if the rumors about Exynos 2500 production issues are true.
