Samsung has a gift for watch owners! One UI 6 Watch is out

• Samsung releases stable version of One UI 6 Watch for Galaxy Watch6
• The update brings Wear OS 5 and a number of improvements including AI features
• The older Watch4 and Watch5 models will also come next

Samsung has finally ended beta testing of its latest version of the smartwatch system. One UI 6 Watch, which debuted with this year’s Galaxy Watch7 models, is now making its way to last year’s lineup as well Galaxy Watch6. The stable version brings a number of improvements including new AI features and an improved user interface.

First for beta program participants

The 136MB update is currently available to beta program participants in the US and South Korea. However, it should reach other markets in the following days. Samsung also confirmed that the update will also arrive on older models of the Galaxy Watch5 and Watch4 seriesbut we do not yet know the specific date.

What’s new in the update?

One UI 6 Watch built on the Wear OS 5 system brings several interesting novelties:

• Redesigned Quick Panel for quick setup
• Redistributed notifications tab
• New system font
• Improved Samsung Health features including AI Energy Score
• Double Pinch action for control (double tap with thumb and index finger)

Probably the most interesting new feature is the feature Energy Scorewhich assesses the user’s physical and mental readiness based on sleep and activity analysis. Thanks to Galaxy AI, the watch will also offer more detailed reports on sleep, including monitoring of heart rate, breathing or sleep time.

A system for three generations of watches

With this step, Samsung confirms its commitment to support older watch models. One UI 6 Watch will be available for all Galaxy Watch models from the fourth generation onwards, i.e.:

• Galaxy Watch7 and Watch Ultra (pre-installed)
• Galaxy Watch6 and Watch6 Classic (now)
• Galaxy Watch5 and Watch5 Pro (coming soon)
• Galaxy Watch4 a Watch4 Classic (brzy)

When will it arrive in the Czech Republic?

While Galaxy Watch6 owners who participated in the beta program can already download the update, other users will have to wait a little longer. Samsung usually introduces updates gradually by region, with the Czech market being one of the first in Europe. We will inform you when the update is available.
