Company Samsung every year they introduce a lot of interesting new products that are among the best smartphones on the market. But the company also produces basic models. One of them is the new Galaxy F05. The phone impresses above all with its large display and battery. What does the new product offer?
The Galaxy F05 is a designer phone with a leather back
At first glance, it is clear that it is a novelty Galaxy F05 adheres to the company’s current design language. The phone has slightly rounded edges and is made of plastic. However, the back has an imitation leather material, which gives the phone elegance.
If we look at the controls, we can find them on the right side. The bottom side then hides the USB-C and headphone audio jack. The back carries two separate cameras.
Large and unfortunately slow display
One of the biggest attractions of the Samsung Galaxy F05 is its display. It has grown to a diagonal of 6.7 inches and is an LCD panel. The resolution is finally 1600 × 720 pixels. A slight disappointment is the frequency of the display, which is only 60 Hz. A faster refresh rate would definitely suit the phone.

Cameras for the undemanding
The novelty of the South Korean giant boasts a rear dual camera. The main sensor has a resolution of 50 Mpx with an aperture of f/1.8. The chip also handles filming in Full HD quality at 60 frames per second. The second 2 Mpx sensor is rather helpful and serves to capture the depth of field. There is an 8MP camera for selfies, which is hidden in the drop-shaped cutout of the display.
It is primarily about the battery
Since the Samsung Galaxy F05 is a phone for the undemanding, this philosophy is also reflected in the equipment. It includes, for example, the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, which works with 4 GB of RAM. 64GB of storage is available for user data, with the possibility of expansion using a microSD card.
But the battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh is certainly a big benefit. It supports relatively fast charging with a power of 25 W. After unpacking from the box, the phone then runs on Android 14with two major software updates promised.
Price and availability
The new Samsung Galaxy F05 will be available in the Indian market from September 20. Whether it will reach other markets is still unclear. The phone will be available only in blue color and the manufacturer values it at 10,000 Indian rupees, which is roughly 2,700 crowns.
