Artificial intelligence will take communication, search and work with photos and video to a new level.

Samsung’s new user interface will reach the first smartphones already in the second week of September.

Samsung just unveiled One UI 6.1.11, bringing the latest Galaxy AI features to more Galaxy devices. The update will be available from September and the features known from the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6 models will also reach the older models, including the Galaxy S24, S23, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5 and Tab S9 tablets.

And what functions can their owners look forward to? For example, the Interpreter function with the Listening mode, or one-way translation when listening to a presentation or speech. Users can also easily write emails or posts on social networks, which is made possible by the Writer function. Just enter a few keywords and the artificial intelligence Galaxy AI will write a complete message according to the chosen style. The Galaxy S24 models will also receive the Suggested Answers function, which until now was only available in the Galaxy Z Flip6. Thanks to it, it is possible to enter short answers from the Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Watch Ultra.

The system also offers translations and summarization of various texts and even transcription of notes from voice recordings. And if that wasn’t enough, there is the PDF Overlay Translation function, i.e. a translator of texts in PDF files, images and graphs. Sketch to Image, on the other hand, can turn a simple doodle or sketch into a sophisticated image, while offering the user a range of options and styles. Also worthy of praise is the advanced Circle to Search, in which Google generates intelligent results in a flash, while the object or text you are looking for is just circled on the display, and today it also offers detailed instructions for solving complex mathematical problems.

The Portrait Studio application allows you to create portraits in many styles, e.g. in 3D graphics or in watercolor. The Instant Slow-mozase function can slow down the video without losing the quality of the recording. The slow-motion movie can then be easily saved.

The updated One UI 6.1.1 for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will be available in Korea starting September 5, followed by North America and Europe four days later. Updates for other devices and regions will come in the coming weeks. Some features may not be available for specific languages ​​or may require the download of a language pack.
