Samsung’s new handsets are being temporarily recalled after reported problems with the silicone plugs breaking.
As early as a few days ago, reports began to appear from people who bought Samsung’s new headphones Galaxy Buds 3 Pro had problems with the silicone plugs breaking when they took the headphones out.
The problem seems to be due to Samsung’s new design on the Pro model, which has a hard plastic ring at the base of the earbuds to ensure a good fit.
Now Samsung has confirmed for the publication Android Authority that this is the case, and that they stop supplying the handsets until the problem is solved. On Samsung’s website, the launch date has also been delayed from July 24 to, at the time of writing, August 28.
Samsung has also gone out on its own the website and writes that “If you experience any problems with the product you purchased, please visit a nearby service center for appropriate measures such as replacement or refund.”
