Samsung suspends deliveries of the new Galaxy Buds 3 Pro headphones due to quality control issues

Samsung suspends deliveries of Galaxy Buds 3 Pro due to quality control issues. Several users have reported quality issues.

Following complaints from customers who have already received their devices, Samsung has announced that it has suspended shipments of the new Galaxy Buds 3 until quality issues are resolved, according to Android Authority.

Some early customers of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro have reported quality issues with, including the plugs breaking very easily. Users later noted that Samsung pushed back the product’s release date on its own website to August 28, while Amazon removed the product from the site entirely.

Samsung’s new headphones are experiencing quality issues

The news comes shortly after Samsung Korea issued a statement to buyers in its domestic market apologizing for any quality control issues they are experiencing with the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.

In the statement, Samsung Korea also mentioned that it will conduct a thorough inspection of the headphones before the July 24 release date, but did not mention a delay in the release.

The defect reported by users is not a major one. It seems that the rubber plugs of the headphones can get damaged quite easily when the user wants to remove them to change or clean them.

Several user reports say that the ear tips of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are quite fragile and can break when you try to remove them from the headphones. The problem seems to stem from the updated design of these components, which use a hard plastic ring at the base of the silicone tips, which snap onto the headphones for a perfect fit.

Affected users say the silicone breaks at the base when they try to remove the earplugs, leaving the hard plastic ring attached to the headphones.
