Samsung? Therefore, you have not received the important update

Every month, Samsung releases a new update to its latest Galaxy phones.

All such updates usually involve a lot of security and bug fixes, so it’s important that you download them when they appear on your phone.

That means the Samsung update

November’s update includes over 30 important security fixes, as well as a change to Samsung’s popular Auto Blocker feature.

Auto blocker is an extra layer of security that you can enable by going to Settings –> Security and privacy.

It stops apps from unsafe sources from being downloaded, regularly checks your apps for malicious activity, and prevents malicious loaders from sending commands to your Samsung via a USB cable.

The latter changes in the November update. When you have updated, you will be able to set so that all USB devices except your charger are stopped from accessing your mobile.

Therefore, the update has not appeared in your Samsung

There are only a few days left until December and the November update does not seem to have reached the majority of Swedish Samsung mobiles yet. In fact, it hardly seems to have been launched in any other country in Europe either.

The reason for that has not been given by Samsung, but the site Sammobile writes that it may be because the tech giant is busy developing its major update One UI 7.

One UI 7 is based on Android 15 and will be one of the biggest Samsung updates ever. It was originally supposed to arrive in the fall of 2024, but was then delayed to early 2025.

Stay tuned for the update

The November update will appear on your Samsung phone soon, but exactly when is unclear at this point.

It can be good to check for the update from time to time by navigating to Settings –> Software Update or equivalent.
