Samsung Tizen OS will power Loewe’s latest luxury TV, Stellar

The Tizen OS integration provides a wealth of content, smart home connectivity and an intuitive interface.

The collaboration promotes the Tizen Licensing Program’s continued global expansion.

Samsung Electronics announced today that its Tizen OS will be integrated into Loewe’s latest premium TV, Stellar, launching on July 15 in Europe.

This is an important milestone for the Tizen Licensing Program, which started in 2022 and is now growing rapidly in Europe and the rest of the world.

“The new collaboration with Loewe ensures that their latest luxury TV, Stellar, will exceed expectations with the advanced experiences it offers consumers,” says Magnus Nørgaard, spokesperson for TV/AV at Samsung Denmark. “It’s also more momentum for Tizen OS, which has established itself as the software platform of choice for premium TVs. Going forward, we will continue to push the boundaries of how users interact with their TV.”

Loewe, known for its luxurious and high-end TVs, has chosen Tizen OS to enhance the viewing experience for its consumers. The brand is particularly famous for its impeccable design and use of exclusive and unique materials – including stone and concrete back panels. The partnership with Samsung builds on this foundation and underscores both companies’ mutual commitment to delivering superior user experiences.

Tizen OS, based on the latest 2024 Tizen license platform, offers a wealth of content and service options, making it the ideal choice for Loewe’s customer base. With Tizen OS, users have access to a wide range of functions that ensure an unrivaled entertainment experience. Key features include:

  • Samsung TV Plus: A large selection of free-to-air channels and on-demand content, providing a diverse range of entertainment options.
  • Cloud Gaming: Access to the best gaming platforms and services that provide an integrated gaming experience with more than 1,000 games without the need for a console.
  • SmartThings: Hassle-free connection to smart devices in your home.
