Samsung Vision AI(1): Smarter, adaptive screens for trouble-free everyday life

Samsung Vision AI represents the next step in Samsung’s journey towards delivering intelligent, intuitive and seamless display experiences. By being aware of its surroundings, adapting to user preferences and autonomously delivering intuitive functions, Samsung Vision AI transforms displays into smart companions that enhance entertainment, simplify interaction and seamlessly integrate into the connected lifestyle.

At the heart of Samsung Vision AI are the personalized features that redefine how users interact with their screens.

  • Click to Search provides instant information about what’s on screen – whether it’s identifying an actor or exploring the displayed content – all without disrupting the viewing experience(2).
  • Powered by an on-device AI translation model, Live Translate reduces language barriers with real-time subtitle translations so viewers can enjoy global content seamlessly(3).
  • Generative Wallpaper turns screens into dynamic, personalized art canvases, allowing users to create images that perfectly suit their taste or occasion.

In addition to personalization, Samsung Vision AI positions displays as central hubs for a smarter lifestyle through integration with the SmartThings ecosystem:

  • Home Insights provides real-time updates about your home environment, including security alerts and daily updates that provide an overview of the home, whether users are at home or away.
  • Pet and Family Care keeps a watchful eye on your loved ones and records the activity of both pets and family members. It improves comfort by automatically adjusting the room settings, such as to dim the lights when a child falls asleep, while providing real-time updates and recording events via the TV.

Samsung Vision AI also delivers unprecedented advances in picture and sound quality, making every moment on screen captivating. AI image and sound technologies on the device analyze content and environmental factors in real time and adjust images and sound to provide an optimized experience. Whether the user is immersed in a dramatic movie, watching a high-energy sports match or enjoying a late-night show, Samsung Vision AI ensures stunning clarity, immersive sound and a seamless connection to the environment.

Building on its history of recognition for innovation, Samsung’s latest Vision AI features such as Click to Search and Live Translate, along with ground-breaking products such as the AI companion Ballie and Smart Monitor M9 with Copilot, have received the prestigious CES Innovation Award 2025.
