The addition of The Frame to Samsung’s hotel TV line up means that guests now have the opportunity to choose the art on the wall themselves, giving a sense of a unique combination of hotel luxury and personal style.
The integration of Google Cast improves the entertainment experience and provides an easy and personalized streaming experience.
Samsung Electronics has today announced that it will showcase its highly anticipated 2025 hotel line-up at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025 in Barcelona. The new line up combines sophisticated designs, new entertainment features and a platform that upgrades the hotel experience.
“Our new hotel line-up is created to elevate the guests’ experience and has individuality as a core element”, said Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “Hotels can individualize their rooms with Art Mode on The Frame, offer streaming with Apple Airplay and the newly added Google Cast, and make it easy to customize the room’s environment through SmartThings Pro, all customizable to guest preferences.”
Enhance the hotel’s aesthetics with The Frame
Samsung’s 2025 line-up introduces The Frame (model name HL03F)(1) as a TV for hotels that combines 4K QLED picture quality with realistic colors and deep contrasts for any room, while maintaining the atmosphere of the room thanks to the sleek sophisticated design. With the innovative Art Mode, hotel managers can choose from a curated selection of both contemporary and classic artwork, as well as the hotel’s own branded content on the screen in off mode.
Combined with Anti-Reflection Matte Displaywhich reduces disturbances from incident light and a Slim-Fit Wall Mount, the TV can be hung very close to the wall like an ordinary work of art.
As an official sponsor of Art Basel, The Frame exemplifies Samsung’s dedication to combining innovative technology with timeless design, and the addition of the TV to the hotel line up sets a new standard for hotels looking to offer their guests a personalized experience.
Google Cast improves the customer experience
Samsung’s 2025 hotel line up, along with the HBU8000 from 2024, takes in-room entertainment to new heights with Google Cast(2) for safe and easy streaming. Guests can easily cast their favorite entertainment directly from their Android and iOS devices to the TV without the need for additional equipment or login. The connection process is easy and fast with no additional need for QR codes, so direct connection occurs.
“We are pleased to welcome Google Cast to Samsung TVs, expanding the possibilities of easy connections for both hotels and consumers,” said Tiger Lan, Senior Director of Engineering for Multi-device Experiences, at Google. “Whether guests are enjoying their favorite entertainment at the hotel or at home, this collaboration ensures users have trusted and personalized access to content wherever they are.”
The line up also supports Apple AirPlay,(3) so hotel guests can securely connect their iOS and iPadOS devices to the in-room TV.
Unlike traditional systems, both Apple Airplay and Google Cast can be used independently of third-party system integration (SI, System Integrator) requirements, making installation easily accessible.
Streamlining hotel operations with a connected ecosystem
Samsung’s 2025 hotel line up introduces a fully connected ecosystem designed to enhance and elevate the guest experience. With Tizen 9.0 guests can enjoy an intuitive user interface that accesses streaming apps, intelligent room settings and personalized services, creating a more comfortable and connected visit.
For hotel operators, LYNK Cloud offers a powerful cloud-based solution that combines individualized content delivery, remote device control and over-the-top (OTT) entertainment. Equipped with an e-commerce platform, it is possible for guests to make use of services such as ordering room service, adjustments to the hotel booking, and access to a digital concierge. At the same time, hotel managers can gain valuable insights and help personalize the guest’s stay through content and targeted offers across rooms and properties globally.
SmartThings Pro empowers IoT connectivity by enabling secure and centralized control of Samsung hotel TVs, Smart Signage, air-conditioning systems and more. With a scalable dashboard and application programming interfaces (APIs) that can be individualized, the IT team at the hotel can get help from SmartThings Pro to monitor performance and control multiple devices across and easily integrate with existing systems.
