His name was Santo Romano, he was a young 19 year old footballer and was killed in the night between Friday 1st and Saturday 2 November from a gunshot to the chest. The motive for the murder, according to what has been reconstructed by investigators so far, was a stepped on shoe. The events occurred in San Sebastiano al Vesuvio in the province of Naples, in the town square where, during the evening, some groups of friends had gathered. The nineteen year old, as explained by some witnesses, he wouldn’t even get involved in the argument: he would have been hit in the chest by the bullet fired into the pile. The explosion proved fatal.

After being hit, the 19-year-old collapsed to the ground. Rescue efforts began immediately: an ambulance arrived on site and transported him urgently to the Ospedale del Mare. He died shortly after arriving at the facility. Besides him, to be a 17 year old boy was hitwho was injured in the elbow.
