Three Academy Awards Oscar winning actress Meryl Streep will return to the fashion magazine Runway as editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly for the film directed by David Frenkel The Devil Wears Prada/ The Devil Wears Prada (2006) is a follow-up. In the film adaptation of the novel by writer Lorena Weisberger, the heroine played by the actress will try to claw her way through the decline of print media. Her former assistant Emily (Emily Blunt) meanwhile has become a high-ranking figure in a luxury goods company with a huge advertising budget, which Miranda Priestly also has her eye on to save her magazine. It is not yet known whether Anne Hathaway, who has once spoken dismissively about the possibility of a sequel, will also participate in the film’s sequel.
