Savage Lands (Megadeth) gathered members of Arch Enemy, Sepultura, Obituary and more for the first album.

Savage Lands – a project led by the band’s drummer Megadeth, Dirk Verbeurenand musician-activist Sylvain Demercastelwill release their debut album “Army Of The Trees“ on February 15th via Season Of Mist. However, the two are not the only musicians who appear on this release. “Army Of The Trees” also brings talents:

Founded in 2022, Savage Lands – a non-profit organization based in the US – has already saved 10,000 square meters of forest in Costa Rica using money from its music. All proceeds from their debut album, Army Of The Trees, go to support conservation projects in Costa Rica and other countries.

“Our goals are achievable,” said Verbeuren and Demercastel. “By turning the purchased land into nature reserves, Savage Lands will set a new standard in environmental activism. However, we must act together and quickly, as ecosystems continue to be under attack. If we don’t act, we won’t have nature to save.”
