BELGRADE – Schneider Electric presents its latest local initiative “For young electricians – join“.
As part of this campaign, for every piece of equipment sold from the Home and Distribution program in electrical shops, 1 dinar will be allocated. The collected funds will be used for the purchase of equipment that is necessary for conducting practical and theoretical classes. The donation will cover four electrical engineering schools, namely First Technical School from Kragujevac, Electrical Technical School “Nikola Tesla” from Niš, Secondary Technical School “Mihajlo Pupin” from Kula and Electrical Technical School “Nikola Tesla” from Belgrade.
The campaign aims to improve practical teaching in schools, and will be implemented in the period from July 15, 2024 to November 15, 2024.
This initiative represents another step towards achieving a positive impact on shaping the future of domestic experts in the electrical industry, especially electricians and engineers.
“We are convinced that the key to our success is in creating a sustainable impact through supporting education and youth. We have a deep responsibility towards the community in which we operate and believe that education is a key link in building a prosperous future. We believe that education is not only a responsibility, but also an opportunity to shape the talents that will lead the industry tomorrow”, said the director of Schneider Electric in Serbia, Miloš Vuksanović.
Schneider Electric together with the Hub in Novi Sad with over 1000 employees is a strong partner in the development of the local community. It recognizes its exceptional local importance and shows its commitment to the local community through numerous business activities, socially responsible operations and support for employees.
The fact that Schneider Electric founded the Center for Young Talents foundation 10 years ago with the aim of continuously investing in the education of young people shows that young people and education are in focus. Through free programming and mathematics classes, more than 10,000 participants had the opportunity to improve their skills.
Through the campaign “For young electricians – join in!”, Schneider Electric invests in the education and development of future experts in the electrical industry, but at the same time supports the craft skills that are crucial for our industrial community. In this way, Schneider Electric not only builds a sustainable future for domestic experts, but also preserves the heritage and tradition of craft skills in our country.
