Schumacher’s ex-wife after finding out that her ex is gay: I feel abused, did he love me at all? – Offside

The former pilot and brother of Formula 1 legend Ralf Schumacher announced a few weeks ago that he has been in a relationship with his French partner Etienne for over two years.

After coming out, Schumacher received a huge wave of support. However, one of the exceptions was his ex-wife Cora, who now came forward and described her feelings, disappointed.

For example, his son David supported Schumacher after he declared his homosexual orientation. The former racer claimed at the time that it was nothing new for those closest to him, and he decided to take this step to avoid speculation.

However, his ex-wife Cora recently showed a strange reaction. She posted a photo from her wedding day and wrote: “Tears speak louder than words.”

Fans had no idea how to interpret this attitude of hers. After Corin’s last statement, everything is clear.

“I wish Ralf would have involved me or at least initiated me into it. I would consider it a sign of respect,” she told Der Spiegel.

According to her own words, she learned about Schumacher’s relationship with a man only from the media. “It made my heart ache,” she despaired. Allegedly, she was bothered by the impression that Ralf had already presented his ex-wife Etienne with what she called a lie.

According to Heute.at, however, Ralf’s lawyers denied that she would have learned everything from a post on social networks.

Ralf and Cora got married in 2001 and their son David was born in the same year. They divorced after 14 years. According to Schumacher, problems arose practically immediately after David was born.

“I felt like old tennis shoes that someone had put away in a corner,” she complained, saying that she felt lonely. Even then, there was speculation in the backroom that Ralf was into men.

“These rumors have gotten worse and worse over the years. I believed him, I believed him blindly,” said Cora Schumacher.

“I feel abused, robbed of my best years. Was he being honest with me? And most importantly, did he love me at all?” Cora asked in the interview, saying that she felt compelled to adjust her image in public. “Did he even think for a moment about what the consequences would be for me?” concluded the ex-wife.
