The site of the IV Congress of Young Scientists will host a traditional exhibition of modern Russian technologies: scientific achievements, developments and start-ups will be presented by 50 of the largest Russian companies, leading universities, research and educational centers, government and public organizations.
The exhibition area has increased by 15% compared to last year – now it will be almost 7000 sq.m. Thematic sessions, master classes and lectures on promising technologies, scientific and engineering professions will be held as part of the stands.
For the convenience of guests and participants of the IV Congress, the exhibition site will be divided into thematic areas: Alley of Scientific and Technological Priorities, Avenue of Scientific Initiatives, REC Territory, Crossroads of Opportunities, BRICS Zone, RTK Cup and others.
“The Congress exhibition is growing year by year, and this not only indicates that the Congress is becoming more and more popular, but that Russian science has more and more to show. Large businesses bring the latest developments and achievements to the Congress, universities bring student startups and accelerator projects, regions bring the achievements of regional RECs, which have proven to be extremely successful and annually surprise with new inventions. The Congress of Young Scientists will demonstrate the clear results of measures to support and develop science taken within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology”noted the Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation Anton Kobyakov.
The exhibition will feature an Alley of Scientific and Technological Priorities – a space dedicated to the Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation adopted in 2024. The exhibition will present the main provisions of the strategy, goals and mechanisms for their implementation: digitalization of production technologies, resource-saving energy, high-tech healthcare, increasing the connectivity of the Russian territory through the creation of intelligent transport and telecommunication systems, countering cyber threats and others.
The Scientific Living Room will be located on the Avenue of Scientific Initiatives. The space, implemented using technological solutions and exhibits from the largest Russian research and educational centers, will embody the concept of a “smart future”. The living room will be visually divided into different “rooms” of the future home: a smart kitchen where food is prepared using 3D printing technology; a smart living room that will welcome guests with unique developments and scientific projects. The Living Room will host meetings with outstanding scientists, young researchers, producers of scientific films, and bloggers.
The “OUR LABA” project will present at the exhibition of the IV Congress modern Russian and Belarusian equipment and reagents for equipping modern scientific laboratories and research centers. The exhibition will feature scientific instruments from 18 Russian brands. A presentation of new project services will take place, and a model of new research developments will also be presented.
The exhibition of the National Research Center “Kurchatov Institute” will present the development of nature-like technologies, bioeconomy, genetic and biotechnologies, materials science, as well as research infrastructure for synchrotron and neutron research and megascience class projects.
Also on the “Prospectus of Scientific Initiatives”, participants will be able to familiarize themselves with the exhibition of the Russian Academy of Sciences and study more than 60 scientific inventions of participants in the First Movement.
A significant part of the exposition will be devoted to the developments of leading Russian universities and scientific and educational centers from all over the country – 13 world-class scientific and educational centers, 5 universities and a number of regions and companies will be presented at the “Territory of REC” site.
Within the framework of the exhibition, you will be able to see the scientific and technological achievements of the Nizhny Novgorod REC, ANO “UK REC of the South”, REC “TulaTECH”, REC “Yenisei Siberia”, REC “North: Territory of Sustainable Development”, REC “MoreAgroBioTech”, REC “Kuzbass – Donbass” “, REC “Russian Arctic”, REC “Baikal” and others. In addition, the best university startups from different cities of Russia will present their products at the stand of the Platform for University Technological Entrepreneurship, launched by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science in 2022 to support and develop technological entrepreneurship and create high-tech startups in the country.
The “Crossroads of Opportunities” will host the general partners of the IV Congress of Young Scientists.
The Rosatom State Corporation, with the help of the multimedia installation “Perpetual Motion,” will demonstrate innovative solutions for the new technological platform of nuclear energy – safe, environmentally friendly and resource-saving. Another interactive art object – a visualization of the image of a future quantum computer – will allow guests of the Congress to look into the world of a quantum laboratory, get acquainted with the history of the origin of quantum mechanics, the principles of operation of a quantum computer and the real areas of application of quantum computing.
SIBUR’s stand will talk about the development of scientific research, the development of solutions for the oil and gas industry, and digitalization in the company. The exhibition will demonstrate examples of career tracks for scientists and young professionals, cooperation with universities, projects to popularize science, and attract young people to the company’s innovative divisions.
The Rostec State Corporation unites unique production facilities and a significant part of the country’s scientific potential. At the Corporation’s stand you will be able to see advanced developments created by Rostec enterprises in cooperation with leading Russian universities and scientific institutes. In addition, young specialists of the Corporation will talk about their developments to achieve technological leadership in our country.
The national finals of the International Youth Robotics Competitions “RTK Cup” and “RTK Cup” will be held at the Congress site for the fourth time. Major League.” 62 of the strongest teams of young roboticists and students from leading universities from more than twenty regions of Russia and Belarus will take part in them. In the “RTK Cup” competition, teams will try their hand at a special training ground, the tests and tasks of which simulate the conditions of rough and urban terrain, the consequences of disasters and conditions where a person cannot work. Teams of the competition “RTK Cup. Major League” will carry out missions to autonomously deliver medicine, move around the city, eliminate an oil leak, sort vegetables and rescue an airplane after an emergency landing.
