then for an average Hungarian family, this will mean an extra electricity bill of about HUF 15,000 per air conditioning unit.
The energy expert calculated 10 hours of use per day.
The RTL report also revealed that the rent of air-conditioned apartments is also higher, in Budapest by an average of 15 percent, i.e. HUF 40,000 per month.
László Balogh, the leading analyst of ingtalan.com, said that there is a greater demand for air-conditioned apartments, which is also reflected in the prices.
Properties for sale or rent with air conditioning can be sold or rented at a higher price, according to Balogh.
As we reported, compared to the world average estimated at 35 percent, only 27.6 percent of apartments in Hungary have air conditioning according to the latest census data.
In addition to the average temperature, the income level of each settlement, the housing stock, its quality, and the local economic structure are decisive in this area.
While Halásztelek, the Balaton area and Hajdúszoboszló are also doing well with their share of over 50%, the share of air-conditioned properties is the lowest in our poorest, small village areas, in the northern part of Borsod and Heves counties, in Nógrád county, and in the border areas of Baranya and Somogy counties, including the aging housing stock. plays a role.
