There is no alternative to scouts to build the nation in order. Scouting activities can give gift of orderly and humane nation. So the scout movement needs to be further developed. Students should be more involved in scouting to build a humane, healthy and beautiful country.
Upazila executive officer and administrator Masuma Jannat said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the newly formed executive committee organized by Bangladesh Scout Karnaphuli upazila on Friday (01 November).
The meeting held at Azim Hakim School and College was presided over by Lions Md. Hakim Ali, the president of the institution.
Organized by the general secretary of the organization Sheikh Mohammad Shahabuddin, special guests were Assistant Commissioner (Land) Raya Tripura, Secondary Education Officer Babul Chandra Nath, Primary Assistant Education Officer Syeda Amatullah Arju. Principal of Azim Hakim School and College Mohammad Manjurul Alam delivered the welcome address.
Heads of various educational institutions of the upazila and scout teams of secondary and primary schools were also present.
