Sean “Diddy” Combs trial has a date set: artist will stay in jail until then

The date for the trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs, accused of sex trafficking and extortion, is known: May 5, 2025.

The decision was taken this Thursday by judge Arun Subramanian. Subramanian was put in charge of this case after the previous judge asked to be excused because he had ties, in the past, with “Diddy’s” lawyers.

It was also revealed that federal authorities’ searches of “Diddy’s” homes in Miami and Los Angeles in March resulted in the seizure of 96 electronic devices. Four others were seized when the musician and businessman was arrested last month.

Authorities admit that “Diddy” could be charged with more crimes, with investigations still ongoing. The businessman pleaded not guilty to all charges.
