Seasonic has launched the Prime PX-2200 2200W PSU

Company Seasonic already introduced the power supply at the beginning of this year Prime PX-2200 (PX-2200-ATX30), this novelty is now going on sale. It is an ATX power supply (ATX 3.1 and ATX 5.1), which can boast of highly above average provided with a power of 2200 W. It is a 100% modular power supply, so it does not have a single fixed power cable. On the back there are two native 12V-2×6 connectors for powering graphics cards, the other two can be solved using reducers. There are 9 8-pin connectors (CPU/PCIe), 6 6-pin connectors (SATA, Molex,…) and power for the motherboard. On the +12V branch, the source is capable of delivering a current of 183.3 A.

In the package you will find one 24/20pin cable for MB, 3 cables 8/4pin, 4 PCIe 8/6pin, 4 SATA with 4 connectors, one SATA 3.3V with two connectors, one Molex (3 connectors), two native 12V-2×6 and two reduction cables 12V-2×6 to 2x8pin). High efficiency is a matter of course, and the source boasts 80 PLUS Platinum certification. A 135mm fan takes care of cooling and airflow. The dimensions of the source are 210×150×86 mm and nowadays it is surprising by the absence of colored RGB LEDs. This is about performance, not show. The manufacturer provides a 12-year warranty on the source. Of course, it will not be a cheap component, the price for Europe was set at EUR 579.9 (CZK 14,600 in exchange rate conversion, however, the only store that has it on offer for now sells it for CZK 17,600).
