Expectations for full-scale expansion of medical AI business
Selvas AI announced on the 5th that it will participate in the ‘Ultra-Large AI-Based Psychological Care Service Support Project’ hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency.
This project, which aims to develop a super-large AI-based psychological care ‘counselor assistance service’, will invest approximately 11.3 billion won. Selvas AI, FortyTwoMaru, LG Uplus, Dain, Seoul Asan Medical Center, Sungshin Women’s University, and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology are participating.
The government expects that this project will reduce the workload of psychological counselors and establish an expert system that supports customized psychological counseling for clients based on MyData. In particular, Selvas AI will be in charge of applying customized voice recognition technology to be used for counselor assistance services, and will also participate in the development of service platforms and systems.
Yoon Sang-won, head of Selvas AI Healthcare Business Unit, said, “We will do our best to faithfully reflect expert opinions and contribute to improving the mental health of all citizens.”
