Seoul National University WeBiome, a health functional food company, announced on the 1st that it has entered Sky Shop, the in-flight duty-free shop of Korean Air.

The product that will be sold at Korean Air’s in-flight duty-free shop is ‘Brain Doctor PS 70’, a health functional food that has been certified by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for its ability to help improve cognitive function and skin health. The 62nd batch sold out on a recent home shopping broadcast, and it also achieved first place in the cognitive health functional food category on NS Home Shopping for two consecutive years.

According to the company, the ‘phosphatidylserine’ contained in this product is an ingredient that has been certified as safe by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), so it can be consumed for a long period of time without any problems. It is a powdered formulation with a rich, scorching rice flavor, so anyone can consume it without any discomfort and it is quickly absorbed into the body.

Additionally, the research team at Webiome explained that the supplement contains auxiliary ingredients such as purslane extract powder and ginkgo leaf extract, which are helpful for symptoms such as decreased brain activity or difficulty remembering words and phrases.

A representative from Seoul National University’s WeBiome said, “We are glad that we can introduce and approach WeBiome to more customers by expanding our distribution channels with the opening of Korean Air’s in-flight duty-free sky shop.” He added, “We will use this new opening as a stepping stone to expand our contact points with customers and continue to expand our sales channels.”
