Seragem announced on the 13th that three of its products won the main prize (Featured Finalist) in the medical and health category of the ‘2024 IDEA Design Awards’ in the United States.
The ‘IDEA (International Design Excellence Awards)’ is an international design awards ceremony hosted by the Industrial Designers Society of America. It is the most influential design competition in North America and is considered one of the world’s top three design awards along with Germany’s ‘Red Dot’ and ‘If’ Design Awards.
At this year’s awards ceremony, Seragem’s Master V7 and S4, and Pause M4 were recognized for their excellence in design that reflects the ‘health-terrier’ trend, which can satisfy both health management and interior design effects.
The Master V7 spinal medical device is based on the Seragem design philosophy of ‘Simple Perfection’ and features a simple yet sophisticated design. It is available in three colors: black, beige, and brown. The soft curves and leather-like texture make the interior look even more cozy and luxurious. Based on 26 years of Seragem technology, it helps treat spinal diseases such as degenerative stenosis through intensive heat of up to 65 degrees and close massage.
Master S4 is a lifestyle-tailored healthcare medical device that adopts an interior-friendly design that folds and unfolds. When unfolded, it provides a close thermal massage of up to 65 degrees along the entire spine line, and when folded, it can be used as a sofa. This product has also been certified by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for two medical device purposes: relieving muscle pain along the entire spine line and helping treat menstrual pain.
The Pause M4, a relaxation appliance, is a massage chair that emphasizes the aesthetics of soft curves and calm colors such as beige and brown, and was named an award winner with high evaluations for its aesthetics. The Pause M4 has various additional functions such as electric reclining up to 145 degrees, abdominal thermal vibration care up to 60 degrees, and precision massage programs for each body part, and is characterized by providing a comfortable massage sensation by focusing on the essence of relaxation.
Meanwhile, Seragem is receiving recognition for its design competitiveness by winning prestigious international design awards. In April of this year, the Master V7 and the Pause M4 won the main prize at the German Red Dot Design Award, and last year, they were also honored with an award at the Japanese Good Design Award.
