Serbia and advertising on TikTok – an opportunity for growth and increased sales

Advertising on TikTok is now available in Serbia through the company Aleph, which allows local brands and companies to use this popular platform for marketing content. The executive director of IAB Serbia, Nenad Milić, believes that this will bring numerous advantages to the local community brandsallowing them to effectively communicate with the younger audience that is increasingly present on TikTok.

TikTok ad solutions strengthen the digital community

A network of global experts Aleph, which offers technological solutions to support the digital ecosystem, has expanded its offer and portfolio by enabling TikTok advertising solutions in the Balkans. Data on the use of TikTok in Serbia specifically are not widely available, but global statistics show that TikTok has over 1.5 billion monthly active users, and it is expected to reach 1.8 billion users by the end of 2024.

The executive director of IAB Serbia (Interactive Advertising Bureau) Nenad Milić believes that the possibility advertising on TikTok in Serbia is significant news for digital advertising and the entire digital community.

“As the director of IAB Serbia, I believe that this innovation will bring numerous advantages to local brands, enabling them to effectively communicate with the younger audience that is increasingly present on this platform. This new opportunity will definitely strengthen the ecosystem of digital advertising in Serbia and encourage further development of creativity and innovation among market participants,” Milić told WebMind.

Agencies and clients will be involved in the leasing business

When it comes to advertising solutions offered on TikTok, Milić says that both agencies and clients will be involved in the rental business.

“Agencies will certainly play a key role in designing and managing campaigns, using their experience to optimize advertising strategies for specific target groups. On the other hand, clients will have the opportunity to use the platform directly, which will enable them to monitor results and adjust campaigns in real time”, he states.

Ignacio Vidaguren, partner and COO at Aleph, said that starting July 29, 2024, brands will have the opportunity to better reach customers and capture their attention through engaging TikTok ad formats, according to the company’s website.
