In recent weeks there have been a number of reports that Sergio Perez will announce his retirement from Formula 1 immediately after the conclusion of the Grand Prix in Mexico.
However, the Mexican Red Bull driver wanted to put an end to the paraphilology, and using his social media accounts he made it clear that he has no such plans.
In particular, the 34-year-old Perez posted a scene from the movie “The Wolf of Wall Street”, in which the protagonist, Leonardo DiCaprio, conveys to his employees that he is not going to leave his company, with them breaking into wild celebrations and applause .
Let me remind you that Perez – after 18 races in this year’s Formula 1 season and with 6 Grand Prix remaining to complete it – is in 8th place in the driver’s championship with 144 points, or 187 points away from the top which – towards present- belongs to teammate, Max Verstappen.
