Serious Accident, This Consumer Receives a New Unit from Hyundai Gowa

DAPURPACUID – PT Hyundai Modern Motor (Hyundai Gowa) through the New Car Replacement Guarantee program handed over two new Hyundai units to consumers who had been hit by disaster.

In this program, David and Adrian, owners of a Creta purchased from the Hyundai Gowa Kebon Jeruk and Lotte Mart branches, had an accident that resulted in the unit being badly damaged.

David, the owner of a white Hyundai Creta Style and a customer of the Hyundai Kebon Jeruk branch. Then Adrian, the owner of a black Creta Prime from the Hyundai Lotte Mall branch.

Both received new units that were the same as the variants and models they previously owned, where the handover process was carried out at the Hyundai Gowa Kebon Jeruk showroom, West Jakarta.

New Car Replacement Guarantee is a program initiated by PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia, in order to provide protection and comfort for customers even in unexpected situations.

This program is in the form of a guarantee to replace a new unit with the same model, type and color if the consumer’s Hyundai Stargazer, Stargazer X or Creta is involved in a traffic accident resulting in damage with a total cost of at least 50% of the vehicle price.

To make it easier for customers to claim in the event of an accident, Hyundai Gowa customers can immediately contact customer service at 0812 1000 9400, or report via direct message on the official Instagram social media platform @hyundaigowa.id.

There are several procedures to get benefits from the New Car Replacement Guarantee program, including:

– This program is valid for 1 year from the handover of the new vehicle;
– The customer’s car will be replaced with a new unit if the damage due to an accident reaches at least 50% of the vehicle price;
– Hyundai Gowa will replace the vehicle with a new unit of the same type and model as the previous one, ensuring undisturbed driving comfort;
– If customers use personal insurance, Hyundai Gowa will provide an allowance of IDR 25 million for Stargazer and IDR 30 million for Creta;
– For customers who are tied to leasing, Hyundai Gowa will assist in processing new BPKB while customers continue to make installment payments;
– Hyundai Gowa will reimburse claim costs such as towing costs up to IDR 2.5 million;
– Customers must report claims to the Hyundai Call Center within 7 days of the incident, attaching a police report;
– There are no unit replacement costs, except for BPKB, STCK, or special number plate administration fees;
– Replaced vehicles may not be sold, used for rental (except in Bali) and must use genuine Hyundai spare parts.
