Setapp Mobile – Alternative European App Store Now Available

Setapp Mobileis an alternative app store available in the European Union created by the well-known MyApple readers Kiev studio MacPaw, or rather a service offering iOS apps available there as part of a monthly subscription. Closed (available by invitation) beta tests of Setapp Mobile have been going on for half a year. Today, the store officially launched.

I have already written about Setapp Mobile on MyApple. The service could be launched thanks to a special regulation on digital markets in the European Union, which imposed on companies such as Apple and Google to open their mobile platforms in the EU to alternative methods of downloading applications.

Setapp Mobile currently offers over 50 iOS apps, including my own Eter radio station receiver. EU users will also find apps like CleanVPN, CleanMyPhone, SideNotes, Elk, and many others in the store.

The monthly subscription fee for Setapp Mobile “iOS Advanced” is €9.49 + VAT (currently €11.67 in Poland) and allows you to install applications from this service on two devices. In turn, users of the Setapp service (which offers mainly applications for Mac, access to web services and selected applications for iOS) in the “Power User” and “AI Expert” subscriptions receive access to Setapp Mobile at no additional cost.

Setapp Mobile can be installed on your iPhone by visiting the website www.setapp.com/setapp-mobile.
