Seven Copa del Rey matches have been moved to other dates due to flooding

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has postponed seven matches of the first round of the Spanish Cup due to the consequences of serious flooding.

This is stated in statement on the official website of the organization.

In particular, Valencia and Levante, representing the autonomous region of Valencia that was most affected by the disaster, were unable to travel to away meetings in Madrid and Pontevedra, respectively.

The stadium in Chiclana, where the local team of the same name was supposed to host Osasuna, was almost completely flooded.

The meeting of Real Sociedad, whose colors are defended by Arsen Zakharyan, with Jove Espanyol has also been postponed to an unknown date.

The rest of the meetings began with a minute of silence.

Earlier it was reported that the death toll due to floods in Spain exceeded 90.
