SARAJEVO – The BiH Market Surveillance Agency has withdrawn from the market three models of laser toy guns, and two types of laser pointers, because they pose a risk of eye injury and visual impairment.

As they stated, these are laser toy pistols “007D”, “super er gan” of the brand “P.062IM” and “er soft gan” of the brand “N0.P138D”, manufactured in China, and one laser pointer whose country of origin unknown, and the second is the Chinese “green laser pointer”.
“All these products pose a risk of eye injury and visual impairment because the measured mean power of the laser beam according to the classification in the standard BAS EN 60825-1:2016 corresponds to class three er /3R/, and they do not contain the necessary warnings and information for users prescribed in the above standard”pointed out from the BiH Market Surveillance Agency.
They added that business entities have taken measures to withdraw these products from the market and destroy them, while consumers are recommended to stop using these products and return them to the retail store where they were purchased. Independent newspaper
