SH cars you may never be able to get rid of. Why doesn’t anyone want them?

High maintenance costs, high fuel consumption or technical problems are some of the causes that make it almost impossible to sell certain second-hand cars. Here are 10 SH cars you may never be able to get rid of and why most drivers shy away from buying them.

Before buying a second-hand car, you should think about the maintenance costs. Some models are extremely expensive and others have numerous technical problems.

Which makes these cars almost impossible to resell. And as long as you keep them, they will generate huge costs.

SH cars you may never be able to get rid of

A clip posted on the 99Vehicles YouTube channel reveals the 10 SH cars you may never be able to get rid of.

These vehicles are half or even a quarter of their original value. But not because they are old, but because no one wants them.

These are cars that are very cheap right now. But, they come with a very high tax, very high consumption, high maintenance costs”, the specialists explain.

Among the models with a rapid depreciation, difficult to resell, are:

  • Audi A4 and A5 with 3.2 FSI quattro engine;
  • Audi A3 3.2 VR6 quattro;
  • Skoda Superb 3.6 FSI;
  • Passat B6 and B7 3.6 R36 4Motion DSG.

The Passat B7 is a car that will, in the short term, ruin you financially. But, I think that in the long term it will have its place as a collector’s car, being an engine that is no longer produced today, unique in the Volkswagen group“, explains the expert.

The list also contains three BMW models:

You buy it for less than 20,000 euros (BMW 550i 4.4L). And there is a car for which you can find parts at disassembly, but not for this engine. This 4.4 engine is rated to be quite unreliable. It has problems with all the gaskets, loses antifreeze and overheats

The SH cars that will be hard to sell are:

  • Subaru Outback 2.5 litri;
  • VW Touareg 4.0 liter V8 TDI?
  • Hyundai Genesis 3.8 Coupe.

Hyundai Genesis is a special, interesting, cheap car, but it has high costs, high tax, high consumption“, explains the 99Vehicles specialist.

What are the main disadvantages of these models you can find out from the clip below.
