The State Secretary in the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) and the Vice-President of Democratic Montenegro Dragana Kažanegra Stanišić took to social media to respond to the accusations leveled against her by the coalition “Budva naš grad”, the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) and the Citizens’ Movement URA .

“Then when I am attacked by the old hyenas of the DPS, the drug-usury organization ‘Citizens’, Ura’s officials who humbly flattered Milo Božović, I am even more determined on the path of truth and justice. The cage of the beasts shakes and panic is the logical reaction. I stand in front of you with full integrity and I tell you even louder, shame on you male cowards, sycophants of criminal clans is the one on the social network Facebook.

The holder of the “Budva our city” list, Nikola Jovanović, announced at the press conference earlier this evening that Kažanegra Stanišić invited persons of security interest to break into the hall of the Municipal Assembly (SO) of Budva today and to prevent her work.

The Citizens’ Movement URA announced earlier this evening that with the presence of Kažanegra Stanišić, persons of security interest (BIL) broke into the assembly hall of the Municipality of Budva and intimidated councilors in order not to prevent political changes in accordance with the will of the citizens.

Miloš Nikolić, the spokesman of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), announced earlier this evening that a hostage crisis is taking place in the municipality of Budva, in which some of the councilors are practically trapped in the office of the president of the municipality, while the building itself is occupied by thugs and a number of persons of security interest (BIL ), who broke down the door and occupied the Municipality.

“The matter is made even more dramatic by the fact that the Police Administration does not respond to numerous calls and warnings for hours, which made the security sector tonight an accomplice in the attempt to take power by force and directly threaten the lives of the citizens of Budva. Tonight’s events represent an escalation of the crisis that threatens to push Montenegro into a state of emergency with unforeseeable consequences,” wrote Nikolić on the X social network.

Holding the continuation of the session of the Budva Municipal Assembly (SO), scheduled for Friday at 7:40 p.m., was practically impossible, because in the hall there are sympathizers of the “For the Future of Budva” coalition and the Democrats-Movement of Europe now (PES) who have taken council seats.

About 50 sympathizers of those coalitions entered the Budva parliament hall.

On the other hand, sympathizers of the “Budva our city” coalition gathered in the office of the President of the Municipality of Budva on the first floor of the building.

The atmosphere is extremely electrified, and there are only a few security guards in the building.

The session does not start, no one speaks to say why the session is late and whether there will be a continuation of the session at all.

The Security Service of the Municipality of Budva, as told to the News, submitted criminal charges to the Budva police for unauthorized entry of persons into the assembly hall, disturbance of public order and peace, and against councilors who called for rebellion.

The news was also told by the Security Service that they called the Budva police on several occasions, warning of the possibility of an overdose.

The police administration announced earlier this evening that the police are monitoring all activities in Budva in relation to the security situation and the reports filed.

Earlier, at the entrance to the hall of the SO Budva, there was almost a physical confrontation between the holder of the list “For the future of Budva” Mladen Mikijelj and the holder of the list “Budva our city” Nikola Jovanović.

There was no physical confrontation because security responded.

This happened after councilors and supporters of the coalition “For the Future of Budva”, Democratic Montenegro and PES entered the SO hall after a five-minute push with security.

These three political groups and their sympathizers do not allow the holding of the session of SO Budva because the chairman of today’s session and the oldest member of the council, Savo Medigović, who was elected from the list “Budva our city”, submitted his resignation, which he withdrew after 20 minutes.

They say that Medigović can no longer preside over the SO Budva, but that it belongs to Krsto Rađenović from the Socialist People’s Party (SNP).

It is expected that if there is a session of the Budva Council of Ministers, Petar Odžić from the European Union will be proposed as the head of the local parliament.

As told to Vijesti, the proposal for Odžić to be the head of the parliament was signed by the councilors of “Budva naš grad”, the European Union and the URA, which number 12 councilors.

In order for it to be voted, they must receive the support of, most likely, seven councilors of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS).
