Sharp LDK+ electric van with 65-inch screen for passengers

Sharp and Foxconn teamed up to create a new electric van concept called the LDK+, premiering at the Sharp Tech-Day event on the 24th.

The LDK+ looks like a home appliance on wheels, with a silver body, boxy shape and rounded edges, as well as a large Sharp logo on the front. The design is focused on as much space as possible in the interior.

Entering the van, the passenger feels as if he is in the living room, the rear bench can be rotated, and for privacy, curtains with liquid crystals on the side windows can be used. The vehicle is equipped with an AI system that adjusts lighting and temperature.

One of the most interesting features is the massive 65-inch screen placed behind the tailgate, which can be used for watching movies, making video calls, entertaining children, but also work in the office. Also, there is a sliding table that facilitates work.

The LDK+ uses Foxconn’s electric open platform, powered by a battery that can also serve as a power source for the home in case of emergencies. There are solar panels on the roof, which are used for energy production.

Sharp collaborated with Foxconn and FoloFly Corporation in the development of this vehicle, and for now it is not known whether it will enter serial production.
