Shell Advance and Ducati Corse Collaborate Again in MotoGP 2024 Mandalika

DAPURPACUID – Ahead of the Mandalika MotoGP series this weekend, Shell Indonesia through Shell Advance continues its technical partnership with Ducati Corse.

Through the partnership (technical partnership) that has been established for 25 years, Shell Advance is believed to provide Francesco Bagnaia with capable performance in MotoGP.

At the same time, Shell Indonesia has again released a new variant of Shell Advance specifically for scooter motorbikes (matic), namely Shell Advance AX7 Scooter Oil 10W-30 in 0.65 liter packaging.

For Shell, this synthetic lubricant is the first to be produced in Indonesia, with the advantage of 46% better oxidation stability over service life and one and a half times longer lubricant performance.

Vice President of Marketing Lubricants Shell Indonesia, Arie Satyanggoro said, the lessons learned from the racing track have been applied in the development of Shell Advance oil.

And the development of this lubricant product, continued Arie on the sidelines of the launch in the Senayan area, Jakarta, Wednesday (25/9), has been widely used in every Ducati motorbike.

He also hopes that motorcyclists can feel the benefits of the rigorous testing process on the race track and improve the performance of their rides.

“Our expertise on the track also inspired us to present Shell Advance AX7 Scooter Oil 10W-30 0.65L packaging, which is designed to protect and keep the engine clean and reduce engine noise in various road conditions,” he added.

Ducati Corse Sporting Director, Mauro Grassilli said, the re-establishment of technical cooperation with Shell Advance in Mandalika follows Ducati’s success in winning the Constructors’ World Championship title in MotoGP.

As is known, history was made for the fifth time in a row at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix last weekend.

According to him, this collaboration plays an important role in the development of the latest and fastest Ducati motorbikes, as well as testing the abilities of the riders and machines to the maximum limit on the race track.

“With this strong support, we are confident that we can continue to achieve outstanding performance on the racetrack and beyond,” concluded Mauro.

This ongoing collaboration has not only succeeded in achieving various achievements, but has also become the foundation for the development of Shell PurePlus Technology which is applied to Shell Advance products.
