As soon as Álex Ghita’s participation in ‘GH DÚO’ was confirmed, Emma García received a call on his mobile phone that stopped the staircase in its tracks. Was Eva Espejo, the director of ‘Fiesta’who asked the presenter for help: “We have returned from advertising and our director is not here, you are not going to believe it but she is telling me that she was locked in the bathroom“.
Automatically Emma García stopped the program to help her partner: “She tells me that she is in the bathroom where the juice machine is and that can’t open the door“. The presenter, together with a cameraman and Ramón Campos, collaborator of ‘Fiesta’ and emergency technicianheaded to the ladies’ room.
Already there they discovered that the director of the program was actually inside one of the toilets: “Nothing, impossible, it can’t be opened, break down the door!“.
When everything indicated that Eva Espejo was going to have a hard time trying to get out of there, the door opened and the director shouted: “Innocent!”.
Emma García, who had stopped the program to rescue her partner, couldn’t believe it: “Does it look pretty to you? You’ve screwed me up, but good!” It was, of course, a April Fool’s Day prank…
