A shocking incident took place on Tuesday night in Northern Evia and more specifically in Spathari, with a 35-year-old seasonal firefighter stabbing his uncle.
According to information from eviathema.gr, a 35-year-old man, who allegedly suffers from psychological problems, attacked his uncle, for an as yet unknown reason.

Specifically, the alleged perpetrator entered his uncle’s house, in Spathari of the Municipality of Mantoudi – Limni – Agia Anna, where he managed to stab him six times.
The victim, despite the multiple stab wounds, managed to go to a central part of the village and ask for help, and neighbors immediately called EKAV and the Police.

The man was rushed to the Chalkida Hospital in critical condition, while the authorities were immediately alerted to locate the perpetrator.
A little later, the police arrested the 35-year-old near the village cemetery.
The evening will be held at A.T. Mantoudiou and on Wednesday he will be transferred to the Evia Police Department in Chalkida.
