Emanoil Savin, the elected mayor of Bușteni, died today at the age of 65, after being hurt and collapsing on the football field. The information was confirmed by those close to the politician.
From the first information, Emanoil Savin was at an event at the hotel he owned in Bușteni. He was hurt and collapsed on the field. Unfortunately, he did not respond to resuscitation maneuvers and was pronounced dead.
“There was a call to 112 in Bușteni for a 65-year-old man, unconscious. A SAJ Sinaia crew with a doctor went to the scene of the intervention, which arrived in about 7 minutes. They found him in cardiorespiratory arrest, began resuscitation maneuvers and decided to transport him to the Sinaia Hospital, where around 12:45 p.m. he was declared dead by medical sources, for Freedom
Emanoil Savin was brought by ambulance from Bușteni to Sinaia, an attempt was made to pick him up by a helicopter, to be taken to Bucharest, but he could not be resuscitated.
Today was their 40th wedding anniversary
An hour ago, an anniversary message was posted on the Facebook page of mayor Emanoil Savin, with a celebration of 40 years of marriage. “Today we celebrate 40 years since we said YES in front of God and the registrar! Happy Birthday! August 4, 1984 – August 4, 2024,” writes Emanoil Savin’s page.
Emanoil Savin had won the mayor’s office again in the local elections of June 9 with 37.82%, in front of Alexandru Florescu (independent) 26.76%. He was to return to the town hall in October. He was also the mayor of Bușteni between 2004 and 2016.
