You might just be convinced that the iPhone 17 Air will be the most talked-about new model in Apple’s new family of devices that we’ll see in September, with a record-breaking thinness, but that may not be the case. Now it looks like Apple is preparing a major refresh of the Pro models as well.
So, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will return to using aluminum frames, abandoning the titanium experiment after just two generations. However, the design shocks continue and it sounds like there will be a rectangular camera bump on the back, which will be made of aluminum rather than glass.
But wait, there’s more! The back will be made of aluminum on top and glass on the bottom, so there will actually be an aluminum camera on an aluminum back panel. The glass bottom will allow Apple to continue to support wireless charging. The camera bump will also be larger than that of previous models, but this is not surprising as this trend has been evident for some time.
If this happens, it will be the most significant design change for Apple’s high-end models in a few years. Just so you know, the source of this rumor has a very good track recordso it could all be true!
