The police intervened when they were informed of gunshots in the center of Ljubljana in the early hours of the morning.
A man shot several times in the air, one of the bullets hit the facade of the building and caused material damage, the Ljubljana police found. The suspected shooter was tracked down nearby and his weapon was seized. He was detained and interrogated and then released. Criminal charges will be filed against the man at the competent state prosecutor’s office on suspicion of committing the crime of causing public danger, the Ljubljana Police Administration announced.
