(Anyang = Newsis) Reporter Park Seok-hee = Siheung City, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 4th that it will provide ‘2025 practical education for farmers.’ It is aimed at local farmers and citizens interested in agriculture.
It will be held from the 14th to the 24th at the agricultural education center on the 3rd floor of the Agricultural Technology Center. It consists of a total of 13 courses and consists of two parts: specialized technology for each crop and pest prevention education. It will focus on heat waves and pest control, which were difficult for farmers last year.
In addition, while education on the public interest direct payment system is in progress, various agricultural-related information that farmers need to know, such as agricultural policy, soil testing (soil testing), prevention of fruit tree burn disease, fine dust reduction measures, and agricultural technology center support projects, is provided.
Eom Gye-yong, director of the Agricultural Technology Center, said, “This training was organized as a curriculum to solve the difficulties faced by farms due to climate change,” and added, “We expect the participation of many farmers.”
