“Silos” debuted on Apple TV+ in May last year and quickly became one of the most popular science-fiction series from the service’s catalog. The premiere of the second season, long awaited by fans, will take place next week. To fuel emotions, Apple has released an extensive fragment of one from new episodes.
“Silos” is a science-fiction series based on the novel “Wool” by Hugh Howey, presenting a dystopian vision of a world in which the surface of our planet has turned into a toxic wasteland and the last surviving humans live in an underground city where the government has introduced very rigid and restrictive laws “for the good of citizens”. However, not all residents want to willingly obey these rules, and some even believe that the story about environmental pollution is a lie intended to enslave them. To give viewers a foretaste of what we will be able to see in the second season , Apple has released the first five minutes of its first episode on YouTube.
The second season of the series “Silos” will consist of ten episodes. The first of them will be available on Apple TV+ on November 15, and the next ones will be added to the service’s catalog every week on Friday. The first season is available to watch in full on Apple TV+.
