A day later, on Saturday, on the occasion of her appearance at the inauguration of the Berceni Arena Ice Rink, Simona Halep was asked by reporters on the subject and did not hesitate to confess that he desperately wants to return to the WTA circuit. The former world leader said that at the moment she is at full capacity both morally and physically, and if there are no injuries in the next period, then she could be seen in an official tournament:

I really want to go to a competition. I missed him very much. I hope to be well, to be physically fit, because mentally I am ready to come back. I’m getting ready. I don’t want to promise anything.
