Singapore bans Polymarket

Singapore has access to Polymarket, where crypto fans can take a chance, blocked. This is the result of the Gambling Control Act 2022, which prohibits gambling through unlicensed providers.

Since January 1, 2025, Singapore has further strengthened enforcement of illegal gambling. More than 3,800 websites have now been blocked and transactions worth $27 million frozen.

Users who try to visit Polymarket from Singapore will see a warning.

The only authorized provider of online gambling services in Singapore is Singapore Polish. Other providers face fines of up to $500,000 and prison sentences of up to seven years.

At Polymarket, users can make a variety of bets with the USD Coin (USDC).
